A WTF for today

Years ago I was walking a long closed junk yard.
I came across a Nomad that had been given the El Camino treatment.
A Nomad for crying out loud!!

I actually like it too. I'm not sure if I'd keep the roof or not, though. Looking at the distance between the rear wheel opening and the door, the Chrysler looks like a 2-door body to me.

That '59 El Camino must be using the SSR chassis or the whole car has been shortened, IMO.

There was a guy around here that did the El Camino/Ranchero thing to a mid '90's Grand Marquis. The car had AR wheels on it and he did a good job on the body and paint, so, it looked pretty nice.

The SSR Roof doesn't work with this vintage ElCamino Body IMHO.

I kind of dig the EL Camino SSR....I think they did a really good job combining the two era cars. LOTS of work to make thing jive just right. This car is in the most recent Hot Rod Magazine...the reason I thought of it right away...;)

If I had the funds I think I would try it with that Chrysler.

A '60 - '66 Chevy truck cab on that poor PINK Chrysler! Most definitely NOT my cup of tea, although it is a custom with a boatload of fab work in it.
