Hi everybody,
I got great and exciting news. Finally after a year and a half, (although it feels like it's been longer) our '67 Sport Fury convertible is out of paint prison and is back home. If they would like to members Bill or @FURYGT and Rob or @1968Chryslers can add to this post as they know my stepdad and what he went through to restore this car, and I believe they both were part of the group restoration progress text as we are all very good friends and know each other. We went and got the car back about a month ago now, and there is still alot to do on it yet to put it fully back together. We still gotta put all the glass in, new carpet in (when it gets here), seats and the rest of the interior in, trim on, repaint the hood latch and the brake booster, maybe repaint the engine, and I think some other stuff that I can't currently think of off the top of my head. We had to get an NOS left quarter panel from Wildcat Mopars and had to use a spare door we had, and had to buy all brand new rubber seals because of how bad the condition they were all in. It was all worth it in the end though. We expect the car to be all ready and completely done and driving by next car show season next year in 2023......
