hoping to learn something today - I get the Firestone part, but what does RWL mean? Not familiar with H70-15, but I think it's a tire designation. I remember hot rods always having wide ovals as a youngster, but wasn't sure what they were supposed to be with. I DO dig the blackwall with white lettering, though.

RWL=raised white letter (as already mentioned)

H70-15 is the original tire size for a 1970 SFGT.
In 1970 all Hi Performance Mopars came with Goodyear Polyglas or Polyglas GT tires.
The Firestone Sports oval RWL was used by GM and Ford in example but not on Mopars.

Hands down GREAT work, and a GORGEOUS paint job on a rare GT!! I'm so freaken jealous. Would you happen to have any engine and under hood photos by chance??

You seriously should consider putting in an application and bringing the car to Carlisle in a few years IF (and hopefully when) they have a C-body Celebration in the buildings and be a featured car it is that worthy and rare.

One more thing (and this is a suggestion), PLEASE change the damn tires to PolyGlass GT's. The "Wide Ovals" remind me TOO much of a Pontiac GTO.

THANKS for the info. I like the RWL look. I had forgotten the Firestone for GM & Ford / Goodyear Polyglas (or GT) for Mopar. Good to know. I think I have seen FURYUS at Carlisle before - NICE.

Question, not a criticism - Is that the correct brake booster for a '70? I thought they had the Bendix Dual Diaphragm up until 71... painted black of course like yours is, rather than rebuilder's grey...

I'm interested in what's the reason you have a different one.
