A74 code on 1970 senior Dodges (and A71 A75 A76 too!)

Not to be flaky, but that "Brougham" name plate and wreath on that car (first thought when seen) was that if was from a similar model year Ford LTD Brougham model. Whereas the 1970 Monaco Brougham only had the words in fancy script. Much more subtle on my '70 Monaco Brougham, by comparison.

The pictured car is very nice and unmolested.

I think we have a winner. Look at the following Ford sail panel logos / scripts / emblems / wreaths:

Put the #3 script inside the #2 wreath, and you get what we see on DL43L0D287822:

DML0D124119. Belvidere built 1970 Polara Custom - A74 on the Tag.

Note mid September SPD and still has a fratzog bumper. Must be towards the end for those.

Thank you for posting DM23L0D124119 -- very cool EA9.

Question for @polara71 -- are you aware of any 1970 Polara with such a late build date that has @Fratzog bumpers?

It's been a while. If my old guy memory is still good we presumed that mid September was the cut off date and around September 11 was the last car.

Thank you. So the SBD of this car would add 4 days to that 9-11-1969 cutoff. @69CoronetRT
