I came across a set of these for sale. I asked the seller if these were on GM, Ford or Chrysler, he says late 60's early 70's Oldsmobile. I took one of the pics and brought it into a draw program and scaled it correctly. I measure the center hole to be 1.5 or 1.55 inches, lug holes look to be 0.5 inches. The bolt circles shown are 4.5 and 5 inches. It looks like a 4.5 bolt circle.

But the wheel itself looks to be 16 x 7, and they look decades old. Did any GM / Olds cars have 4.5 bolt circle? If these are 16 x 7, how rare are they?

Only Fords and Mopars were using the 5x4.5" bolt circle. GM was either 5x4.75" or 5x5.0", by comparison.

The rim width measurements should be INSIDE the bead, not the outside edge. The rim diameter and specs should be STAMPED on the inside of the "depressed area" at the rim's center.

The GM-equivalent chrome wheels did NOT look completely like the Ford and Chrysler Magnum 500 OEM wheels. The Buicks had one, but with a different variaton of the 5 spokes. Olds had their own unique whels. Chevy had a Magnum 500-style 14" wheel on Chevelles and maybe Camaros, but it was painted rather than chrome. Pontiac had their unique Magnum 500-style wheel, too.

The Ford Magnum 500-style chrome wheels were all 15x7 and specific to Boss Mustangs. Ford also had a Ford-specific 14x6 chrome Magnum 500-style wheel. They had the Ford "Oval" logo stamped into the wheel near the "14x6" stamping, too.

There is also a utility to measure the spacing between the lug nut hole centerline to determine the bolt circle, too.

That is a 15" Buick wheel, by the shape of the center hole and curved spokes.

A 15" wheels measures 16 1/4" across
A 14" wheel measures 15 1/4" across

I guess too much wishful thinking on my part. My 14" magnums (no tire mounted) measure 15 3/8 rim-edge to rim-edge, so add 1 inch to that if they were 15" which would be 16 3/8 which is what these rims show. My 14" are 5.5 wide, they measure 6 7/16 edge to edge, these are a touch less than 8 edge to edge which makes them 7" wide. So these are 15 x 7.

The center "snout" face on these seem elevated by maybe 1/4 inch. Mine is flat with the spokes.

I've analyzed the image showing the bolt circle and if these aren't 4.5 bolt circle then I'll eat my hat.

Try and slide that Buick wheel over a mopar drum or axle. It won't fit today, or tomorrow either.

Take a real mopar wheel and draw it up like that and see how it looks.

I'm not taking the bait and playing this "game" with you.

Flip it on its side and read the stamped size and get back to us with that info.

Look at your tape measure position, it's not over the rim edge and it's not going through the center of the wheel, it's off center a bit
