I see that. Really nice example, though, based on the ad. I just couldn't pass on the one in Nebraska. This Wednesday is the pre purchase inspection.
The one in Scranton is nice and easy to fix.
Congrats hope all goes well.

Here are some pics of the Nebraska car. The old gentlemen apparently dinged a fender, and there is a hole in the headliner:

I really like that car!

That ding might be able to be worked out by a good paintless dent guy. Emphasis on "good". Headliner is a $400 fix if you can't live with it.

Either problem isn't a reason to not buy the car.

The saga continues.
Deal fell through on the '66 Imp out of Nebraska. Found out the car's been sitting outside for at least a year. OK, concerned, but not a deal breaker-negotiating point. The day comes for the pre-purchase inspection, owner can't be found, left messages, emails, etc. The appraiser and I figured he got nervous, seller's remorse, whatever. So, I moved on and now am looking at a '65 up in Scranton. Come to find out the old guy was out of town somewhere, didn't have his cell phone on him and so on. Sorry, I had no idea and won't pull out from this deal-in-the works.
