Advice on buying parts for your own use in Europe?

A lot of vendors on FB state that they will not ship, pick up only. Many vendors take cash only, and some explicitly refuse to use PayPal ot equivalent. Those restrictions make it for us overseas things very difficult.
If you find what you need within central Indiana, perhaps I can buy/pickup for you and figure something out from there?

"Help the man on the hill", Finnish folk saying.

I would like to purchase a 1970 Chrysler 300 right front fender wheel opening molding and a good condition rear bumper (no dents and rust). How should we proceed here? I can't find those on eBay, and if I can, the parts are damn expensive. Any tips?

Air freight is very expensive to Europe, shipping by ship is cheaper. My buddy lives in Lake Worth Beach, Florida and can ship them.

In Finland, the base work (correcting dents and depressions) and chrome plating of the rear bumper of a full-size car costs about $1000. Isn't it cheap :).
Hello Kaim (on the hill :))

I all other options fail, and if you ever come to Denmark.. I probably have a "not to good looking" wheel opening molding, that I will give you for free...

Let me know, if interested, and I will check it out condition wise, but it came off a "Florida swamp-300 Hurst", and I seem to remember that most of the aluminium moldings were corroded..

PS: Prepping and chroming a ´70 300 rear bumper, for 1000 USD sounds super cheap compared to Danish prices.. (which would be at LEAST 6 times that), so I would gladly drive up to you, with both my Challenger, 300, and Imperial bumpers, to have them done! :p (And bring the wheel molding, if it's any good)

Hi Kasper from Denmark

Incredibly expensive work there. I would guess that the price of my bumper would be around 1 200 €. You need to contact kromaamo: Loimaan Kromaus Oy / Yritys

However, the pages are only in Finnish, but Finns always help their neighbors (but not Russia) if you need help.

Good chrome workshops can also be found in Sweden, certainly with cheaper prices than in Denmark.

PS. Volbeat is super great band. Denmark's gift to the world.

PSS. Do you really have all those cool MoPar-cars???

Thank You fury fan very much for the offer of help

By the way, my first car was a 1970 Plymouth Fury III four door. Year was 1979....quite a long time ago.

2933393 same as 2901447 is the RF wheel opening molding fits 1969-71 Chrysler

have it NOS 75.00 plus shipping

will send you a message
I didn't know how to attach a picture to a private message, so I'll continue here. I think a 1970 Chrysler 300 wheel opening molding is different than 1969 or '71. Does your molding include that colored recess (see picture, the color of the recess depends on the color selection in the lower moldings)?

Hello Kaim from Finland
Thank you very much..! I am glad that you like Volbeat. although I am not a huge fan myself.. (my music taste, is stuck in around the same years as my favorite cars.. 68-74 ~ "car chase jazz" preferably..! Jazz rock / jazz fusion, and I actually have e few Finnish favorite bands from that era too.. "Unisono" (Super rare 1975 Jazz rock album), and also enjoy the band "Finnforrest" very much..

Thanks for the links and additional "chrome information".. It's fantastic, that Loimaan Kromaus offers such prices.. which compared to Denmark is REALLY good! It's a 12 hour drive.. = Do-able..!

Abt the cars.. - "yes, I still do.. but probably not for long"..
After I got the last (1971 Barracuda), I have been struggeling with my economy, and also I have realized, that with work, kids and wife, I simply don't have neither the needed finances, time or energy, to properly store, and care for all these fantastic Mopar cars! Also, if I own 6, there are 5 other people that are missing out on that great experience.. so I am going to start by selling two, and later on, probably one or two more! :)
