What do you like?

Been taking some flak from a few die hard MOPAR guys here for being a car *****. I call it being eclectic.

Still working on the feel of this place. I like the cars that cost the same to restore as higher end cars, but are worth little when done. Think my first gen Montes, my 65 442, the two 9 second Malibus. All have $30k plus in them each, and I see that in my 65 Fury. And the end game is maybe a $12-15k sale IF I ever part with any of them.

Not sure why I throw good money after bad at any of the oddballs, but I know what I like. My 65 Fury is completely kickass and I fell in love the day it came to me six months ago with a dead starter and no brakes. I finally bought it a month ago and plan on a true drivers resto. Lose the rust, polish the trim, and a really big engine.

But here is a question. Could you compare a 64 SS409 4 speed Impala to a 426 wedge 4 speed Sport Fury? Serious question. Everyone knows one exists, and the gene pool that knows about the other is pretty shallow.

Ok I'll bite...

I'd take the... oh wait, I'd take all the mopars... though (and I'm sure i'll be waterboarded for this) I'd take a 64 SS409 Impala over a Sport Fury... BUT that's because of 2 things; 409 valve covers and I don't like stacked headlights...

Fun fact! The "396" in 1969 was actually a 402... my buddy found that out the hard way...

Was kind of hoping to not see this term used seriously on this sight but we're growing so I guess it was inevitable...

Well it's just that mental masturbation is... well, meh. Hence the use. Clarification as to how they're being compared. Drag race, road course, looks? I don't have time for it. Besides what are we twelve? I haven't heard a comparison like that since I was in little league.

See where I grew up it was Camaro vs mustang and chevelle vs fairlane... the closest anyone came to giving a fluck about mopars was my shop teachers jeep obsession...
