Americana car show New Zealand 2015

Hi every 2nd year in my home town of New Plymouth in New Zealand we host a car show over three days that involves driving in convoy to smaller towns in the district to park up in the main street so the locals can get up close to check out american cars. Its a popular event and people go americana crazy lining both sides of the route between towns waving american flags (including confederate)

City officials have limited entry to 600 cars now due to the logistics of cars traveling in convoy, road closures of main streets and traffic control.

Seeing as im a mopar loyalist thats what most of my pics are of including two of my own cars that I entered 71 Polara and my 74 Monaco.. however a few "others" of interest to me slipped inops:

Marc liveed back in the late 90s/early 200s in germany and we hang around a lot. He has a bunch of old Mopars including 58 Fury etcetcetc. He was at 11 last time we e-mailed

That is kool i dont know what age range you or he would be ? i was born 65.. some say its a small world and theres only bout 4 million of us total in nz, might as well only be 5 of us if you travel 5mins from a nz city.. about 1million it seems are chinese or asian nowadays that have immigrated in numbers only really since l was a kid.. except of course for chinese gold diggers and opium den and shop owners that have been in new zealand since the early settlers gold rush era.

l could have even been at a car event where marc was and met him if hes always liked v8s, car racing or drags.. could be i dont remember him due to occasional over indulgence in my teens haha.

i did live in Auckland city for many years and was in north shore rodders club and a few classic car clubs. if he has a facebook page, a profile on cbodies or you have a link to some pics of his cars i would like to see please? another kiwi connection with a mopar interest is worth while when your located way down under in this world from where great ma mopar builds her babies.. a few of plymouth and chryslers furys and vailant chargers/regals etc (the canadian and australian assembled right hand drive models) were available new from chrysler dealers here (a lot were 6 cylinder 245 265 hemi powerplants. my grandfather had a 68 four door fury 318 he bought new when i was 1yr old, it went around the clock 3x at least.. it couldnt be killed even with us kids learning to drive in paddocks or at the beach in it. what cars do you have Carsten? do you post pics of them here? you dont have gallery pics in your profile but i thought i had read a post somewhere sayin you had more than one car?

i was going to pm you with this rant but if you have a link or some pics you can post up im sure others would like to see any mopar eye candy too.
