My spider senses warn me this might be a former rust bucket. The driver's door/quarter panel seem to have some distortion in the pics too. But for $4500...

that's it, the price is prob apropriate for the car. Interesting note is the non-tilt rim blow wheel, which is very rare on these cars.

The pictures you sent me in the e-mail told me you'd have nothing to do with it.... So how many 70 300 rags have you located? How many were red?

How many 69's have been found?

I've found 5-6 69s, this is the 8th '70, I think. and 3 of the 70's are r6, 2 are r8, 2 are jade, 1 is white, and one is blue/ And 5 or 6 of the interiors are blk. 4 or 5 of them are console, 3 are TNT, only 2 had a tilt wheel, only 2 of them had road wheels, I think 4 have pw, 1 had pvw, 3 - 4 have p seat/s.

Ok, now i have found how many decent polara convertibles? Oh, that's easy....none.

any more questions Sherlock? Since i have so many 69-70 300 rags showing up, I ought to just start a registry. Once I do that, they'll dry up quick.

How much bigger is a 300 then a Polaras Wheelbase & overall length and width?

In 1970 the total length is 213 vs 224", 300 bigger, of course. The 300 has a WB that is 2-3" bigger than the Polara, which is 121-122", i think.

I thought there would be a considerable size difference between the 2. My guess is that if you were looking for a big body vert you bought the Chrysler and if you wanted something more mid sized you bought a B-body. Just a guess...

It's not about which one looks better, it's all about size..

I still believe that Chryslers were bought by people with some money most had garages and stayed with their owners longer. The polara and fury sat outside and was traded within 10 years

And possibly wasn't the primary family transportation and parked for the winter if they lived in the snow zone.

Didn't you buy the vert from the original owner? What was his story?

Just got an email with some pics. If anyone is interested pm me and i'll shoot them to you via email
