For sale 65 dodge monaco

Posted this in comparison to this one at $500. This car below is a bit more money, but is better cosmetically, has lots of new parts, and is road-ready:
For Sale - 1965 Monaco 2-dr

First year of the Monaco with only 13,200 made in U.S. Has factory 315hp rated 383 4 barrel. Auto with full length console. Original black interior, working power windows and power driver seat, power brakes & steering, dealer installed air but not working but complete system. I sometimes drive it to work which is 115 mile round trip so dependable. Body needs minor work and paint as the paint job on it looks bad. Have all trim and emblems not shown on car.If interested call my cell after 4:30pm weekdays or text anytime. Due to several attempts to scam me I will only accept payment direct to my PayPal account or cash in person. Also buyer is responsible for getting car. Prefer not deal with out of state buyers. Thanks

Dreamer at that starting price. And yes, I just sold one of mine. Hell, what he wants for that I should have asked double my selling price!!

Not impossible but it appears to have all the control buttons in the dash and I'm not even sure an A/C heater box will fit a non A/C firewall.

Dealer installed usually meant a big AirTemp knee freezer under the dash.

I agree, I doubt a dealer (and customer) would go thru the effort and expense to disassemble the car enough to modify the firewall to AC specs (what does this entail, even?), install an AC heater box under the dash, and then swap to an AC dashboard for vents and ducting. Dealer would have access to all parts back in the day, but I can't imagine a customer willing to pay for that level of authenticity.

I've read of a few guys on the internet that have done that level of conversion to their car, and what they described for the firewall retrofit was pretty heavy.

The firewall part is the easy stuff. The dash will drive you insane as well as tear the bejesus out of your hands. Did one years ago, won't do another.

This one came factory with base heater and automatic.

It is factory A/C, Identical to mine. The Blower is in the firewall as Factory, and the dash has the factory cutouts for vents. The condenser line is missing, but the switches and vent tubes under the dash are all correct. Too much money for the car in it's condition, I agree.
