well, you need to have been there to understand it. It is different than any other car show to say the least.

There is the the official car show in daytime.
There is cruising in the evening

and then there is what you see in this video. Simply party people. The video says in the beginning the time it was filmed. It was 3am (it is sweden in midsommar, the sun is going up, not down at this time). So these are the drunk leftovers.

the show has about 15.000-17.000 american cars participating............and maybe the crew of 500-1000 cars is just there to have a party.

It is a scandinavian thing to have a party really IN the car.

Anyhow, the atmosphere there is really great and relaxed, no stress anywhere and even all the drunk are not aggressive at all. Even though I don't need to be drunk at a car show. I want to see cars. If I want to be drunk I can meet with some local buddies in a bar

I don't know of any car shows here that allow drunken stupid behavior. Nor would I go to one.

On the official showfield no one is drunk. All of this was filmed in the town, not on the official show field (airfield). Also all drivers have to be clean. There is a lot of cops checking that everywhere. But the other 5-7 people in the car are drunk as hell.

I just can't be around drunk people in general.....doesn't matter where. I rarely see drunks and classic cars together. I love car shows.........even the small ones with just 10-20 cars.
