Anybody else play an 8 string?

Very nice man! I've been playing since 13,..now 53 and been in rocks bands all my life. I have a few guitars..LOL. My main guitar is a American Strat that is loaded with Kinman and Seymour Duncan pickups. Can't put it down. Owned it for over 15 years now or so. Like to hear ya play that 8 string. Here is one of my tunes if you want to take a listen. I'm using my Strat and my Ibanez 7 String. This is the kind of music I write. I also have a full recording studio in my house. Love this kind of stuff and like I said, been doing it for years. Good luck with the new guitar. It looks beautiful.

I have been wanting to learn for years now. I bought a vintage Epi 5 years ago, a few learn how to play books and DVDs and still can't play. I'm not disciplined and just need to take some classes.

We have a few, but they are pretty shitty and are cover tunes. The video camera sucked. Here's a Zepplin tune, but we ended up getting rid of the singer, he just couldn't cut it.

Yeah man, I build all the time. I have all the fret tools. Fret saws, files, fret jig for all scales. I love this stuff as much as cars. Believe it or not I have a Fender Squier in black that I'm working on to be a Buddy Guy model. For a cheap guitar, it plays great. I'll be replacing the pups with something good (Kinmans) and the wiring,switches and pots. My wife thinks I'm nuts with all these guitars! Maybe I am..!! LOL.
