No, there was an executive order that Cuomo did last year. It was challenged (rightfully so!) and the state supreme court shot it down. Since then, they have passed a law that as of June 1st, it will be, but right now it isn't.

Vaping smells terrible. Smells like the inside of your dirty lungs. I'd rather smell your cigarette second hand than the nasty smells from vaping. I do a lot of concerts and get my share of a lack of oxygen. Easier to breath with second hand cigs than it is with the vaping stuff.

Was a smoker for many years. My doctor would tell me " I have nothing against nicotine as it is not a carcinogen in itself, I HATE your delivery system!" He urged me to vape or patch one lozenge ,anything but smoke. In the end I vaped after trying everything else and finally put it down. I use nicotine mints when needed and haven't picked up a cig in close to 7 years.

Unfiltered cigarettes or nothing for me! Rothmans, Benson and Hedges, in Canada have a pure tobacco dry herbal vaporizer. The tobacco is pulverized and made into a paste, dried and shredded, and made into stubby "cigarettes" you insert into a small pen and "heat not burn". So no formaldehyde, tar, and alot of other bad by-products of combustion. Still nicotine. I tried it, tastes weird, but so did smoking when I started. I'd say it's better that the juice. My Dad used to smoke Pall Mall's in the red pack, I had a friend that smoked them too. I got high as a **** after smokin one, total head rush! This coming from a guy that used to smoke True Blues.

The only brand's available factory unfiltered in Canada are the two original brand's, Export and Players, anything Export "A" has a filter. Before plain packaging was imposed, Export used colour coding, extra lights were silver, lights were gold, in the 90's came red, mild, and blue, medium. Originally only available in unfiltered regulars, the pack was green. In the 50's came Export "A"s, with a filter, lighter green pack. Ledgendarily known as "the green death", appealing no?
I've always said " if you can't smoke a real smoke you shouldn't be smoking", of course, no one should smoke, but if you can't handle it, quit! Don't switch to a lighter cigarette, you'll just smoke more, they have more additives, and stink even worse that regular cigarettes! Filters have all sorts of bad crap in them too.
Also, a pack of 25 Export plains is 17.00 CAD$ currently, and increasing regularly.

my dad smoked the unfiltered pall malls are had a massive heart attack and died when i was 17 .
