Reading earlier that was Collectors Auto Supply.
As Stan eluded to they are a "Broker". They sell what other people are selling. They dont have it but know where it is and will get it and sell it to you as if it were theirs.... Thats ok I guess if you need it and dont mind the price increase
At this point I don't care and would happily overpay for a few of these things as that's all that we need at the body shop to proceed.

There are many clips used on cars that are unique to that manufacture, typically these are on wider trim. All these links people are posting will only have the typical butterfly clips in different sizes. I am assuming (since I haven't seen this clip) that it is one of clips Chrysler designed specifically for that specific trim.

Again with seeing the clip or the trim I can't really say what I might try, that being said I'd look into taking a couple butterfly clips and welding them together or to another piece of metal. This may not snap onto the studs and may require drilling. Then again at that point you might just as well use the modern trim tape.

So unless you know this clip and have a good idea where to get it don't bother posting, I know we all want to help but at this rate we'll be 20 pages in and still no clip.

Matt's best chance will probably be to salvage some originals.

Hi Alan,
Here is the clip. Anyone have some?
BTW, I'm Steve(the retired CHP), not Matt.

forzav12, how many clips are you looking for total? That clip looks familiar to me, so I might have some but I would not have enough for both sides of the car complete. I will have to look. Were you able to save any of the old ones that you could reuse?

I do have a few that are usable. I'd be willing to buy any that you are willing to spare-probably need 7 or 8 of them. Thanks!

I had a chance to look through all my 69 Dodge parts today and I did find some that are identical except they are 2" longer each one - they are some used ones I found from a parts car for my 69 Polara 500. That trim is much wider, but the clip looks identical except for the length. I could not find any short clips in my stash for your Monaco though. I still think Murray Park is your best bet but I also realize your paint shop is pressuring you to get the car done, and his turn around might not be the best in the dead of winter. Sorry I couldn't help on this one.
