Given it's current condition, how much do you think it would sell for (not seriously interested, just curious)
like 7-8k?
Depends, Commando V8 means 383 right? Over the past 5 years I've seen plenty of 65/66 Sport Fury/Fury III with big blocks (440) in fairly nice looking complete driver condition in the 8 to 12k range, sticks command higher and I have screenshots of 426 wedge stick AD's in the past 5/6 years going for 20k+ IIRC.

Yeah, here I go again.
Here’s yet another car that looks exactly like a loaner Dad had for a few days. The gold interior was so different from our black S.F. interior. I liked the matching paint and interior look like this car. Chevy had some nice combos like this too.
His 65 Dart was in the bump shop after older brother dented a fender.
I think the above estimate is about right. I believe Legendary has the complete interior incuding door panels for these cars.

Did the Commando V-8 emblem mean 383?
Didn’t they also put it on the small block Barracudas 273?

The Commando fender badge would designate the car as with a high performance engine, it could have been in the Fury line a 383 2bbl single exhaust "Commando" engine or a 383 4bbl dual exhaust "Super Commando" engine, or a 440 4bbl dual exhaust "Super Commando" engine. Or on the other body lines like the Barracuda the 273 4bbl hotter cam and dualies "Commando" engine introduced in 1965 then in 1966 a 273 "Super Commando" engine. Eventually engines would morph into the "Magnum" moniker around 1969/70(?).

440 wasnt available till the 66 model year

Sounds like you are.

And you forgot the Commando 361.
Listen, the guy asked a question, the ad did not say what engine was in the car other than "Commando V8", plus there is no picture of the engine bay.
The car is over 50 years old it could have any V8 in it for all we know. I was just providing some information on the Commando designation for this period of Furys. I could've gone back to the 50's Sono(whatever) Commando engine in the Fury but I really don't think we need a crystal ball to figure out that the moniker is aimed at WWII vets do we?
Sheeeech.

Here's another example of a 440 swap that we may have posted before.
