Listen, the guy asked a question, the ad did not say what engine was in the car other than "Commando V8", plus there is no picture of the engine bay.
The car is over 50 years old it could have any V8 in it for all we know. I was just providing some information on the Commando designation for this period of Furys. I could've gone back to the 50's Sono(whatever) Commando engine in the Fury but I really don't think we need a crystal ball to figure out that the moniker is aimed at WWII vets do we?

Didn’t they also put it on the small block Barracudas 273?
Yeah, they got a lot of use out of that badge.
They signified a big block in the Fury line and any V8 in a Valiant or Barracuda as I recall.
65 may have been the last year for the 361 in the Pplymouths.
