Question, Can you just go off road and drive around anywhere in the "desert"? up here (Wisconsin) every inch belongs to someone. teaching my wife (72) how to shoot Kimber 1911.

Those wheels look great on both cars!

I normally don’t go for aftermarket rims, but they really work here; the stock ones with the BSW tires looked too plain.

Patched the two rust spots today. Monday I'll get some paint and spot it in to hold it over until I get time and ambition to paint the whole car. Only other bodywork needed is just door dings.

Done with the rust repairs. Color match isn't great but good enough for a temporary repair. Better than driving around with rust or primer spots.

Packed the wheel bearings, new pads and rotors. My seat will be done this week and then I can drive it!

Got my seat back and installed. Very happy with how it turned out. I do need to dye the headrests tomorrow.

I'm considering it done! I buffed and detailed it today and while it's nowhere near perfect it looks good enough that I'm not going to spend the time and money on a complete repaint. Time to drive and enjoy it! Now I have two done cars so I can switch off driving them.

Good point Craig. That's a lot of glass! On a 115 degree day it will be a hothouse!

Now the grandkids can hang in the back.

If mine had a wayback seat, I’d keep it raised except when I need the floor space. It’s part of the nostalgic charm.
