Shall I assume that is a '71 Polara? What is the engine code? Duals? HI-PO exhaust ? I see Blue paint which confuses me. My '71 New Yorker, E85, Blue paint, has as single snorkel with a taller than usual air cleaner element and housing base.

In ’70 and ’71 only HP (E86) NYer:s came with Dual Snorkel air cleaner. Most were E85, alas, came with a single snorkel. So this one has been fitted with a dual snorkel sometime later.

As it seems, Dodge DID put a dual snorkel on many engines. But not Chrysler. They were after muting the engine down as much as possible, they were not after power.

As I stated, of course it makes sense to swap the silencer to a better breathing one, if you’re after some more power and lower fuel consumption. And it brings with it a perceived High Power image, too, which may be the true reason for swap in most cases.

Yes, you should . E85, T code. .it has been my experience that the T code Plymouth and Dodges in 70 and 71 had duals and the dual snorkel air breather .

This is a nice car, but IDK the values of these... I would have a hard time with $5k on a sedan with so many cosmetic flaws...

And the stickers really reduce my desire to own/deal with a car... the more they touch, the less it's worth.

Good to know, factory 440 C body fuselage Dodges are seldom seen in my parts, if ever. Same can be said of Plymouth fuselages of any kind.

I saw that too. I think its just the wrong battery with a wrong (red) ground cable.

I have the same color and year Yorker. Mine also has those same pinstripes (same color too).

I have the single snorkel with single exhaust. And yes, stickers are lame. I won't advertise for a company unless I'm getting paid by them somehow.

Also, the vast majority of Plymouths and Dodge C bodies with 440 engines (T) code were for police duty in those years, hence the regular production engine option was with the dual snorkle air cleaner housings.

Missed this question the last time this car was advertised: Is the A/C an AutoTemp setup, or is it manual A/C ? AutoTemp would surely kill the deal for a lot of us. . .

Does anyone know what happened to this car and whether a member bought it? Anyone got a better photo of the window sticker?

Why do I ask? Well, the air cleaner is not original -- see here for an example of a '71 NYer sedan with the OEM one -- but, as @polara71's engine-bay photo shows, this green sedan seems AFAICT to have the dual snorkel air cleaner that I need for Medina -- and nice road wheels to boot. Swap the air cleaner, put back OEM original wheels and covers, and Medina is all set while I also get the nice car attached to these parts as a bonus. Find the right front bench, get the 1970-1971 repro water bottle that is supposedly coming out this summer, refinish that front grille surround, and I've also got the green New Yorker sedan that I've always wanted

Indeed! As you point out there are not many Chrysler 4-door lovers, in green no less, but I do and have some questions about them:

1. Headliners:
a. Do the 4-dr hardtop (yes, I know this is a sedan) headliners interchange between 1969, '70, '71 and/or '72?
b. How tough are they to find?
c. How difficult are they to install (assuming that all the bows are in good shape)?

2. Bumper: How difficult would it be to change the rusted out trim that lines the inner loop of this car's front bumper?
