NOS 1965-1980? Dodge Chrysler Plymouth Door sill tags Mopar 1966 1967 1969 1970?

I purchased a set of 4 from this seller - looks like he has a bunch more of them to sell. I thought that they are a pretty cool item to have for my MOPAR display case...but I was wondering - what they were actually used for. The ad claims "DOOR TAG" = but I have never seen one on any jamb or door.... My best guess would be for some sort of award plaque , or trophy base. Any one know for sure ? Looking forward to some info !! thanks

It looks like an accessory that attaches to the sill plate to me.

That would be my guess.

Look like at least Fuselage if not Formal era.

Never seen anything like that on a Slabsider.

Now we need pics of everyone's door sills.

My "R"-body, '81 Mirada, and '82 New Yorker did not have those, but'82 I'm fairly sure my '83 Aries wagon and '85 Charger did. I think those are '80s fwd-era car rocker plate emblems.

Doesn't look tough enough to last long being walked on if mounted on a sill plate. Maybe some where in the interior, maybe on the dash or maybe ceiling mounted video of a van.
