A lot has traspired on this thread since I last checked in. Sounds like amputating a leg for a hang nail "lower 3". My .02.

I can agreee with you on that one, but I'm affraid if I don't use a new quarter to graph the fix, I will lose the contour of the wheel well and beyond.

put the complete quarter on. alot of times you patch it and it will rust out somewhere else because the panel is diseased. i do this everyday for thirty years. think of it as cancer. put it in remission or remove it which way do you have a better chance

I agree with you rick... got the quarters coming anyway, gonna put the whole quarter on...
