Beware AAA Motor Club

Your post isn’t clear if your Newport broke down or you were simply using AAA Road Service as a transport company. I could see them questioning the latter yet they still reimbursed you.
I’ve been with AAA for 47 yrs and used the towing many times after accidents and even to tow the Monaco home after the Pertronix crapped-out on it. They’ve never questioned my use of towing services.

Doesn't matter how I used the service, it was done within my membership. They are the ones at fault here. Not me.

I'm one of them, and I feel terrible about it.

I did feel like a criminal though, but got over it.
