How's the "butt kickin leg" holding up? It sure sounds like you're getting to enjoy yourself and the Imperial more.

The surgical wound finally quit bleeding about 2 weeks ago. The leg is stiff and needs strengthening. Got back on the tennis court and finished 6 games before I had to stop. Will try skiing, tomorrow. (knocking on wood) Thanks for asking.

Took Big Blue to the annual Fair Oaks Fiesta Car Show today. There were about 300 cars, but only four C bodies.

With these sorts of things, it’s not that I don’t like it, I just get bothered by the mishmash of styles. Is it a pro-street fat tire blower out the hood car? Is it a kustom with the lake pipes? A top speed/standing mike car with the wing? The Halibrands kind of fit the first and third but not the second.

If the car had a cohesive look, I’d be down with it. Not to my taste, perhaps, but not everything is.

That supercharged Chrysler is even more of a mashup than you think. I spared myself and everybody pics of the interior, which is equally oddball. I wanted to get the owner's story, but he was not anywhere near the car when I dropped by. I imagine this build is his very personal idea of a dream car. To each his own, etc.
