Carsten does not suffer fools easily when it comes to Fuselages.

In the last 25 years I experienced too many times people who destroyed decent C-bodys. Mostly for demo derbies and drivetrain donors. So I have thin skin at that point

I ended up sending the seller some questions about this black car for sale on ebay since a guy I know was interested, but he is not that knowledgeable about these cars - so I did the communication. It turns out the right quarter panel was replaced but I do not know why, and there was a rust patch in the lower part of the rear of the front fender. He did not outline any other areas of rust. I also received the body code plate, and as I suspected after seeing the yellow under the part of roof where the vinyl roof was torn, the car was originally a Y5 body color with the black vinyl roof and interior. Y5 is crystal dawn metallic, which is a very light gold. So for those wanting a triple black car originally, this one is not it. Just fyi in case anyone was intending to bid on it. His reserve is between $7 - $10K he said, which might be helpful to any potential bidder as well. Not having the original engine, none of the original trim and given the original color and other items, I am thinking he will not meet reserve.
