Some of you may know that most of the freeway chase scenes in the Blues Brothers Movie was shot in downtown Milwaukee and not in Chicago. Here's a few of them. I-794 and the Hoan Bridge (The Bridge to Nowhere) before it was finished.

Stop! You're ruining the movie for me! Lies! Propaganda! Misinformation!

Amazing how much is portrayed as something different in movies.

I did not know that about the location shoot, but it is not a surprise. That's common with most films. Most "New York" shots are anywhere but the Big Apple.

Die Hard with a Vengeance was an exception.

That's Hollywood for ya.
Their lame movie of Motown's "Temptin' Temptations" was filmed in Pittsburg. Pa.
"My Girl" ain't from Pittsburg!

I used to work for the people that operated the parking lot under those bridges during the "Fest" season. One time a bolt or rivet fell off the Hoan and landed on a guys car. Sounded like a gun went off. A lot less gun fire in Milwaukee in those days.:elmer:

I lived on 2400 block Weil Street.

Close to Humboldt Blvd and North Ave.

The north side is worse than Afghanistan these days.
