Hi All - I have a '69 300 I need some roof repair sections and a trunk filler for. I'm fairly sure '69-'71 Newports, 300, and New Yorkers share these components - can anyone tell me if any other models and years will interchange?

Full size Plymouths and Dodges, same years.

(And even DeSotos from an unknown parallel universe where they were still made from '69 to '71)

Just kidding, on the DeSotos, that is.

What are the third and fourth characters in your VIN? Some full size 1969-71 Plymouth roofs, rear windows, and dutchman do not interchange with full-size Chryslers.

I think the two-door hardtop roof skins were pretty much all the same on Chrysler, Polara/Monaco and Fury, from the seam in the C-pillar upwards, except for the 29-body-style Plymouth Fury two-door hardtops, which actually had the four-door hardtop roof sheetmetal.

Thanks All. They look close to me, but I'm going through this with a B body Dutchman now too - looks the same - isn't drop in...lol.
I don't know the VIN offhand. Honestly the car has bene on my trailer for a few years and I just noticed how bad the dutchman got whilest sitting... Car will have to be tarped and fixed sooner rather than later. I can fabricate everything but the Dutchman so if I can't get the other parts it's not abig deal. But I NEED a dutchman panel for it. There's just nothing left of it.

1970 Fury 29 Body Dutchman Package Tray

I have a 1970 Fury 29 (3rd and 4th characters of VIN) 2-door body Dutchman & package tray. It's rear window is concave as you view it from the rear. It does match the Dodge & Plymouth 4 door HT. Without the right Dutchman package tray, your rear window is not going to set up right. I don't believe this 2-door Dutchman will help any more than the b-body piece, but I'll publish a few photos for reference.
These are a bear to cut out. I used a 12 circular carbon blade on a concrete saw to cut the roof and c-pillar off. The I used a saws-all to get the rest. The valley in front of the rear window mount and the lower panel between the trunk hinge mounts were eaten out on a car a had. This one is nice because both areas are intact.

I doubt this piece would fit well on a 1969 Chrysler 300 (be that a two-door or a four-door Chrysler 300).

That was my point. Not every full size roof part interchanges.
From my Hollander Book, if the 3[SUP]rd[/SUP]& 4[SUP]th[/SUP] characters of your VIN are
1) 21, you have a 2-door sedan, and this dutchman fits 1969-1970 Fury 21 body cars

2) 29, you have a 2-door sport hardtop, and this dutchman fits 1969-1971 Fury 29 body cars
3) 43, you have a 4-door hardtop, and this dutchman fits 1969-1971 Fury 43 body cars and 1969-1971 Dodge Polara/Monaco 43 body cars
Unfortunately,it does not fit any 2-door Dodge cars or any Chrysler cars.

Although I always thought that the general roofline of the 29 body and the roofline of the 43 body was the same on Furys. If you'd park a 1969-1971 Fury 29 hardtop and a Fury four-door hardtop of these years side by side, wouldn't the body contours be an exact match?
