Bought another Mopar today...

I've been looking for a 4x4.....I've looked at a ton of 2nd gen Rams...

I bought this one this morning. Most I looked at were high mileage, rusty. With 318s and they still wanted $2000-$3000......I bought this one for $400 off the original owner.....it has the 5.9L and 135xxx kms. It's the "Intense blue" and a Sport package....two things that I began to fall in love with during my search....

The outside of the body is crusty......but underneath is perfect....mechanically it needs a set of injector o rings, a fuel rail, some gas tank straps and a cable for the transfer case shifter as it's sticky to shift.....

The tow truck that dropped it off got stuck going up the hill......so...

The truck that towed mine ended up being towed up the hill by my truck......truth be told I didn't realize he stopped when we got to the top and I dragged him another 50 feet.....

The Sport is a keeper...

The can is actually rust free other then the passenger side cab corner.

So I'm gonna order the metal it needs and add it to my list of vehicles to paint this year.

The rust is basically all in the bolt on panels.

Yes........I will however actually fix the truck properly and then I'll do the safety and have my boss sign it so the name of the inspecting mechanic doesn't match the name of the owner of the truck.

Love those trucks. I've had several serve me very well. My favorite I sold with 235k on it still going strong and I got around $1300 for it.

Great truck! I'm on my 4th Dodge in a row and put at least 150k on each with no issues at all. They are bullet-proof.

What year is that 00-01 that would be decent if it has tow package. They are good flatlander trucks.
I have a whole 98 sport here you can have for free if you want. The tail gate is good.

Solid pick up, sold my 98 4x4 360 w 260k on it. Still ran like a top, puff of smoke on first start of the day. Replacing the T case was the most I did with it mechanically. Looks great in blue.
