Boxing it in! 66 Sport Fury

Nice work, I think it came out great, almost factory. The passenger side panel in my Imperial is removable for storage from the factory.

Looks good. One suggestion. Why not hinge one of those panels to access some additional storage space? I keep my floor jack and a bunch of stuff behind the right wheel well. Seems like you're losing a lot of room there boxing it off.

Thank you. The way I cut the panels,.they can be removed anytime to store things behind them. They fit tight, but can be removed. I didn't want to drill any holes in the car to mount them. The power amp is going to be moved behind one of the panels also. Then over the winter, I'm going to install a 16 gal fuel cell with a new Autometer fuel gauge.

John, looks great brother! Damn you for giving me more ideas! LOL. Can't wait to see it finished! I agree with Fishfan. you should try to make it where you can store some stuff that you don't normally need behind there as hidden storage. Other than that I really like it and that is a great idea on the hardboard.

Thanks brother. Sorry about making you work more with ideas! LMAO. I'm going to remove the spare tire mount for a cleaner look. I'll post some more pics when it's done and a video of removing the panels and placing them back in for the storage thing. All the panels fit tight, but not to tight if that makes sense.

Thank you,
Can you post a picture of that. Like to see it. Is it a wagon?
