Brake situation

Just a thought........
The primary shoe is self energizing and wants to stay against the drum when the brakes are applied, even a small amount. What if the return springs are original and unable to pull the shoe back to the anchor. A small amount of gear oil or brake fluid on the lining would also want to hold the primary against the drum and even engage the secondary to apply the brakes even more.

It's time to find another mechanic. ...

BUT!!! If it's all stock, with stock exhaust manifolds and stock location brake lines, there's no way that would happen.
BIG TEN FOUR ON THAT GOOD BUDDY!!! That grease monkey either is totally crooked, stupid, or both!

Learn to work on your C body. These really are THE EASIEST CARS TO LEARN AND MAINTAIN EVER MADE! Furthermore, they were WELL built. Pray, don't allow some hack to rob you and destroy your Classic C body Mopar. Cut the greasemonkey's arm off as a friendly warning.
