RUSTED AS IS1975 DODGE ROYAL MONACO 2DR. VEHICLE RAN WHEN PARKED SOME 12 YEARS AGO. INTERIOR IS PRETTY GOOD LOTS OF RUST ON EXTERIOR. VEHICLE SOLD AS IS .

Dammit! I'm not interested in a resto project, though. Judging from the obvious rust on this one, I can just imagine what the floors, trunk and inner quarters are like.

Dang....I would love to find a rust free low mileage one of those!!!

Just two people have racked up those 21 bids. I'm thinking they're a little obsessed with the 'bid' button.

Actually all the work of one guy, the zero feedback guy, bidding 18 times at small increments trying to reach the other guys bid. He is one big spender...

Wow, wait a second it has a K in the VIN, Police package? But a 360-2 barrel? '77 Model Year? WTF goes on here? Belvedere, IL production?

Nick

That second "K" is for the engine, which is a 360 2-bbl. I doubt the VIN was input correctly by the seller. Probably an "M" or possibly an "L" where the first "K" is, just due to a fat-finger entry error. A "K" in the 2nd character of the VIN indicates a true cop car, as you noted.

The 1977 model year in the Vin makes me wonder what credibility the whole vin entered has......

The car is a '77, or atleast has a '77 rear bumper on it. '77 was the only year with the corner gaurds (rubber bumpers on the ends) on the rear bumper.

Guys this was a 75. Ive seen it in person. Its just 35min down the road from me. The ol man refused to sell it to me 12 years ago while it sat in damp conditions. I stopped every year after to see if he had changed his mind. Started at $2000 and he gradually lowered it down to $800. He passed and his kids are selling it now. It literally isnt worth a dime more than scrap. Quarters are shot. Rockers are shot. The floors are so soft you can literally pick a spot and push through with a single finger. Over half the trunk pan is the same way. The motor was locked up as well. The whole family is diluted into thinking its a pile of gold
