If you are referring to the Budd system that was used from 65-68, the rotor can be separated from the hub and replaced. The rotor will fit both C-body and Imperial hubs even though the hubs don't swap across platforms.

The Imperial Club should have purchase info.

i've got some imp's 5'' bc ones , got them for the calipers . more on the calipers . is ssbc making a new budd replacement caliper as well . would be nice to get an alloy caliper on the front end . there stuff works well . have used there kits on other models . it all fits . hoping these kits will too . not nuts about there metric master booster assembly although .

The calipers are fairly cheap now. My issue is with the price of the ball joints. Make me want to convert to drum, then do an SSBC conversion back to disc. ends up being cheaper in the long run.

Imp ball joints are readily available and not expensive, it's the lowers for the C-bodies that are the culprates. If there's one thing that really surprises me on this subject it's that somebody hasn't brought these back into production.

firm feel will rebuild the lowers @ $280 a pair + shipping . checking with qa-1 about a rebuild kit for them , i believe they make there own stuff .

You are correct about Rare Parts, as they will normally just recast the part themselves to match OEM. That is why their prices are relatively high, but their work is first rate, and they are very easy to deal with. I have had good experiences with them over time. Like SMS, they are the only game in town.

well priced them new at napa @ $500 bucks , firm feel uses the old arms and bores the old ones out and them presses the new ones in . qa-1 has a press in type . not sure if it all compatible yet . more research needed .

After reading all of this, and seeing how long ago it was, I am hoping that some of you have gone the supra rotor route. I did mine, and am very glad I did. Only problem I am having is getting a remanned passenger side caliper that doesnt blow a seal while bleeding the brakes.

That's why I went Wildwood the lousy remans drove me nuts.
