Not sure of the interior. I think red or black would have been a better choice.

Prowler had no right being part of the show.
My 2¢ thank you very much...

I take it this is jacksonville FL? Did you take your car?

Florida - yes. No, my car is safely tucked away for the winter while I am traveling. I did have an inkling to take it with me, but didn't want to use it as a daily driver while away, and I didn't want to pull the trailer the whole time.

I don't blame you there! Wish I would of known though.. I live in the jacksonville area, and never heard of the show. Doesn't look like there were to many mopars to be seen though. I would have loved to seen your car though if you had brought it down.

The few shows I've been to around here never seem to bring out any mopars. Always the same bowties, and blue ovals..

Well, I'm not going to say anything bad about anyone's dad here....

Have at it............ he's a great guy and everyone loves him at the shows but really? A new Challenger at the shows? He kills me, and finds absolutely nothing wrong with it

A two year old used car is a bit new, but there are really old guys at some shows here that think a car from 1970 is too new even today to enter a car show or even any postwar car that was affordable for the average guy when new.
I didn't like it when I showed a 20 year old car in 1990 and some thought what's that crap doing here; today I think the same about a car from 1991 that shows up. A matter of age I think.

The 68 Imperial convertible may be a Shriner Imperial. 68 was the last year they bought their 20 some Imperial convertibles
& this was the color combination they chose. This was the Omaha NE. Shriners that did this every year from 59 to 68.
A build sheet would note Shriners car on the bottom.

I've met Dave's Dad at Carlisle. He's a very nice gentleman!

Another hot Carlisle on tap for next year most likely. I remember sitting up in that grandstand...even in the shade it was hot as hell.

I can handle it quite easily every year when it's in the 90's. Last year was brutal, I think the high temp for the weekend was 107. I believe it was around 105 the rest of the weekend. That didn't even figure in humidity and the heat index, that was actual temps.
