This guy had one for sale. He hasn't been around in at least a couple years, so responding to the ad won't get you anywhere, but you could try PM'ing him. You never know.

For Sale - removal tool

I'd try tapping it out and once it's out far enough, grab it with vice grips so the roll pin collapses slightly and pull it out.

Special tools were designed to protect warrantee repairs at the dealership level. Most were highly specialized and the procedures could usually be performed without them, as big john pointed out.
