I would be interested in buying it. If it didn't have a hole in the roof

The hole in the roof makes it better......the trunk is what concerns me, looks like it has a heavy full patch done on it, a quickie job instead of repl the pan

When I talked to him he didnt make me think it had that much work done to it. Nice enough car, I wish they left it alone.

that's right, the interior.i forgot abt that. nothin wrong with a repaint, esp if it is the orig color and good quality. the interior was 2 steps down though.

the hole in the roof is the dealkiller for me. If I want fresh air: Buy a Convertible. Everything else is a compromise.
It is not really worth restoring it (financially). Just drive it as it is

forgot: yes, they should have left the trunk as it is. Because now all the rain can get out there anymore :)))
And as I said it isn't worth a full resto

Many C bodies arent worth a full restoration, financially. This one is a nice driver but needs work. The interior needs to go back to white

Yea, you're talking to someone who's gonna put 80k+ into a car that will be worth 20.

I've found the right car and think that I have less into it then its worth. The question is, fix the paint in an effort to keep it original or a total repaint? A repaint would certainly put me upside down in it money wise but this doesn't bother me because the passion level is all there. What will end up happening is a resto of the original paint and if that doesn't turn out then a repaint is in the future.
that being said, I do like the vert but that's crazy money!
