C body Concept Cars

Everything on the Internet (this concept was labelled an Eldo) must be true...BUT, I gotta back-track upon reflection.

This concept car looks more like what became the 1970-only Riviera styling (we did the Riv's from this era in another thread last year in case anybody wants to immerse themselves in that).

do not think it has been covered yet, but here is a 1956 Chrysler Norseman

after i posted above, I also found the Norseman. then i found 2 other "Concept Car" threads here .. I saw the Norseman is in one of them.

Its actually a fascinating car as is the story about its birth and famous "death". Thanks!

I remember reading about the Norseman as a kid! The day dreams I used to have about that car! In the 80's my grandpa got me a few books on concept cars! Ah the memories... Another cool thing about gramps was after 36yrs at Buick City he went to work for the Flint auto auction. He used to bring me up there to see the wild cars they'd bring in. Got to see the the Charlie's Angels van and a bunch more!

BTW, it apparently sold for $176,000 at auction (it was on ebay -- dunno if it sold there or not).

And I guess there was a real 1958 Plainsman wagon built in Australia that never sold here? Anyway, I found a brochure that I'll put in a different existing thread.
