C-Body Holy Grail Restoration Starts Here; 1970 6BBL GT

Received this NOS 70 Sport Fury finish panel today “with a little help from my friends”, thanks guys, you know who you are!!!

It’s the correct rear panel with cast studs and no screw holes.

For the 6BBL hood,….never opened…NOS new in the display box.

Date code correct 1969 too!

date coded 8-1969, perfect for the 6BBL.

Even better,....the date code is visible only with tires off the rims!
Hey Trev, I don't know if it ever got corrected but the actual date code for the road wheels is on the backside of the wheels on the outer lip area, I believe in line with the tire stem. Every road wheel I've seen has had that 869 code on the inside stamped in them.

This is the original spare to my green GT. Almost exactly one month prior to the cars SPD.

These NOS items are blowing my mind, unobtainable, like they were saved for 54 years for this car. It is great to see this coming together!
