there are maybe 40 '69's here, mostly coupes/verts though. They (fusie sedans/hardtops) don't seen to come up that much with other than OEM wheel covers and road wheels.
Anecdotally, I would assume (I am in this camp too) people think the OEM offerrings look best on sedans vs. other choices. Other than tires, I don't tend to deviate from OEM content on any of my "more door" sedans. Habit more than looks.
I only have ONE '69 sedan (in resto now) and I am staying with the wheel covers (considering RWL tires though) because I like the look and an SOS pad worked wonders on the the originals.
1969 Fusies below in this thread. There are maybe 30 fusie sedans from other years here too.
