I have a '71(?) Chrysler remote cable hood latch that I bought to use for my '70 Chrysler.

Can anyone tell me where it goes through the firewall and maybe an idea how the cable is routed? Pictures work great.

I'm kind of hoping there's already a dimple in that spot.

My SF has one. I have been told it is not factory but it looks like it to me. I will check tomorrow and see if I can get pictures. Was told they were not an option on 70 SF?

I know they were standard on the '71 Chryslers and Plymouths, but have never seen a reference to them being optional on the '70 models.

I specifically took this pic of the ‘73 firewall so I could remember where the cable would go in my ‘70. That’s the hole just under the bulk head connector. Hope that helps.

Thanks!

Just looked and can't see the dimple from the firewall side because the fenderwell is in the way. The old bones aren't letting me crawl under the dash this morning, but now I know where to look.

I never thought to ask when I posted this, but do you know where it goes through the radiator support?

You can see it run along top of the fender well then in through one of the existing holes. This is the ‘73, some of these openings might be different than the ‘70.
