Take care of it though I heard stories from some old timers that said the old unibody chryslers bend in half when thet happens

Anyway weld it up. Loose the rubber mounts. Use the extra middle mounts that are unused if its on your year. You can solid simply with several large bolt washers available at grainger or industial hardware sales online. Exept for the frontmost mounts I used modern strut bolts for new ones

No rubber isolators in a 68, in fact rubber isolators didn't start being fitted to Furys until 71.

yes they bend , bought a 64 300 k rag . the drunk that owned it had bashed it up on every corner and side . even drove the car off the road and bent it on the door sill rocker panel , and bent the car open . almost two inches wider at the top of the door jam then the lower . but it was untouched , never money'd around all oem , less tires . it had sat in his garage for twenty some years after sitting in his driveway for ten . when the judge took his drivers licence and finally his licence plates away from him . his house was a collection of booze bottles , piles of them everywhere in and out side the house .
