Canada Going to War???

Who was that Canadian politician that caught smoking weed. He was pretty popular on U.S. TV for awhile. I think he's dead now.

I agree to a certain extent.
This is a global issue & not just Canada that has done this to other countries.

What really burns my toast is the fact that there was & in most cases still an environmental disposal fee on just about everything these days and it does jack squat other than line the coffers in parliament.

Personal recent experience was a min fridge I bought died just after warranty.
I hauled it to the local refuse site and was told I needed to purchase a $20 voucher for disposal.
I argued that I had paid up front & they didn't give a crap and said i couldn't dispose of it unless I paid again.

I then took it to a proper recycler an they told me that they evac'd the system, claimed the freon back and paid me scrap metal prices on top of this.

Again it burns my toast when we have to put up with this kind of theft from our government.:soapbox:

HA! Here in Floriduh, just leave it by the curb and it'll be gone in a couple of hours!

He's saying, What's the problem?

It was Rob Ford
He passed away and now his brother is the premier of Ontario...
He hasn’t been caught yet...

No honor among thieves.

I remember seeing a statement years ago in a newspaper/magazine I was reading and it went something along these lines..."the people who are smart enough, and have enough integrity to run (Insert your country here) are smart enough not to get into politics in the first place."

I have actually witnessed "honour among theives". Even more supzrizingly, I've also witnessed "honour among used car salesmen"."Honour among politicians"? I've never heard such an unbelievable phrase uttered. And unfortunately never seen any evidence of that ever happening. I'm sure it has in rare occurences.

That was crack. Weed wouldn't have raised any eyebrows, even back then.
