Drivers fender was replaced with an NOS piece still had part number stamped on the inside
Maybe you found an early “Plymouth” Super Bee
Cars looks pretty solid and complete. Nice on the NOS fender.
Either spot had no chance of survival on this one!The build sheet on my parts car was under the carpet directly under the passenger side front seat.
Haha for some reason it seems a car that is totally screwed will have a mint broadcast sheetWell to clarify I should have said a portion of the build sheet haha
Yep I was like wtf is this haha doesn’t appear to have any engine info on it. That’s the last thing I need to figure out. It had either a 383 or 413 in it so I assume it was a 383 but no way to know for sure.I can't say I have ever seen a fender tag like that!
Forgot about ABC. I met him at a swap meet in Indy, he's a pretty nice guy.Great find, Regarding the Console ABC Mopars reproduces most of it now including the console body, top plate for the 4 speed, console door top and knee pad, you would have to find the chrome bezel for the shifter surround and tach bezel. Year One has a repop tach with the correct face on it that does not require the send unit, shifter handles pop up pretty regularly.
Good to know. From what I’ve found Canadian Sport Fury’s were a package that could be ordered on top of the Fury III unlike the US were it was a separate model. Rear wheel skirts were optional not standard on the Canadian ones too.Forgot about ABC. I met him at a swap meet in Indy, he's a pretty nice guy.
He does the side filler pieces for beside the back seats, too.
When you go to replace your doorpanels, be aware that your panels have the Fury III-style stainless trim, which I presume was used in the Canadian-built cars?
Legendary has listings for doorpanels for some C-bodies, too.
Canada had to pay tariffs on parts until they signed an auto pact agreement in 65 or 66. Before that they would try and use the same parts for different models to keep costs down. A few examples are the early Canadian valiants basically being US market darts rebranded as Plymouth and 65 dodge c bodies having Plymouth dashes. It does get confusing. And finding information on Canadian stuff is next to impossible, luckily I got some info on the Canadian Fury from a couple guys on this site.Hmmm. Maybe that explains the 'Sports Fury III' thing that drives us Americans crazy.
It does seem like the emblem is maybe the only difference between your doorpanel and an F3's, maybe that was a way to reduce inventory/increase flexibility at an assembly plant. Would makes the Parts Books confusing, though!
No. It comes from this.Maybe that explains the 'Sports Fury III' thing that drives us Americans crazy.
