They have Mopar red? I think noI used VHT. It's in a rattle can but for small touch ups, I'd spray it into a cap and brush from there.. Not sure what area you are in but I used to get it at Mopac in Langley, BC. They also have Calgary and an Edmonton, AB locations.
Bill Hirsch makes what I think is the best and lingest lasting Mopar engine paints in the correct Chrysler red - ask for their red used on 318 and 273 engines. Excellent quality, can be brushed or sprayed.

VHT Engine Enamel™ -- High Heat Coating
Anyone use tremclad rust paint on engine? it's not high temp?Tremclad rust paint is/was available in a red which is very close. That's what I used on my engine, etc. The Tremclad red may actually be the same as International Harvester tractor red.
I found this thread on another forum. They say older IH red is an exact match, but most of what you pick up today is not.

I used POR turquoise engine enamel on the engine in my convertible. It came in a can but I put it in my spray gun and blew it on. It's held up well. I don't see Chrysler red. Perhaps the 56-57 Chevy red is close?
POR-15 Engine Enamel
I painted a whole engine with it. Seems to have held up fine, at least as well as the POR-branded turquoise engine paint I used on my other one I think. I'll take a closer look and get some pictures when I get a chance.Anyone use tremclad rust paint on engine? it's not high temp?
