caps

Yes, the often sought for parts are called domes...but nobody uses the term because of the confusion it causes.
 
I've been calling them that from Day 1, Will.
Seems like every time a post is made by someone looking from them, they are called otherwise.
I almost (Almost. :). ) was starting to doubt myself. Lol!

Your right Stan. dome just doesn't come to mind ..... hub, cap, button, center piece/cap ..... but not dome. Kind of like the "stub" frame.

Let's not forget the emblem that goes on various versions of these domes/caps, and that is called a "medallion" or "decal".

Nope, I've been on these on a different thread. He just started this thread to post the pics to show me the condition and NOS status.

I used the one NOS cap that I had on the NYB last year.

I don't have a good set of domes/caps for the road wheels that I bought in Carlisle this year for the Newport.

Nice....... you'll be very happy.

Two months ago I finally installed my NOS centers and Trim rings on Adleen.
They weren't planned for her but things changed
 
This may have been asked before, Are the center caps repairable? Possible to take out the pitting and re chromed?
