Me and rattlesnakes have an agreement: You don't F*%& with me I don't F*%& with you! So far our little arrangement has worked wonderfully!

I had one that lived around our chicken coop in BCC. When I would find him in the coop, I'd pick him up with tongs and move him outside. Never rattled or showed me aggression any of those times.

Oh there’s a ton of great reasons: we’re attending the 50th wedding anniversary of my fiancé’s oldest brother and his wife (Yuba City), attending the baptism of my fiancé’s newest granddaughter (OK City), seeing my sister, her entire family, my son, cousin and his wife in Tucson and Ventura, having lunch with my old boss, whom I worked for for about half of my career, experiencing the wonderful times of traveling over 5000 miles with my fiancé and visiting with friends who spent over 50 years with my family.

Thanks for the lead! Probably won’t get to that yard this time as we’ve got wedding vow renewals ceremony, dinner/dance tonight and pickleball another dinner tomorrow and we’re hosting my future brother in law and his wife at the RV for some cedar plank grilled salmon and bison top sirloin steak on Sunday.
Then we’re heading to Santa Paula bright and early on Monday.

Rapid City is near, if you consider 5 hours away near. lol

No Snakes so far! But we have plenty ocasions planed where we have the chance to meet them.. I will look out for them!

Unfortunately, we are not that far north. We drive south south-east from vegas. But thanks for the tipp, looks like a nice yard!
