I was picking up some parts in an area of the state I don't get to see very often. I asked about other old cars in the area and the hunt was on. This next set are from a new owner who bought some land from a widow. The widow was in no shape to deal with the sale or the state which would have come after her for disposal. These were delivered from Washington state to ND to facilitate that disposal. An interesting mix of brands, Old Harleys (gone), 11 triple jug hondas , one parts bike left , vws, edsels, and big 3. About 40 vehicles remain, 1/2 of what the new owner started with.
The 66 is a convertible 318 poly

If there is no trade interest, these only fit polycast (only have 3). I have road wheel center caps too..

Welp, it was a beautiful 42 degress and had the day off. After seeing Glenb's pics out at a yard, I drew some inspiration and set out for a honey hole I haven't been to in about 7 years. There was a brown 383 Gran coupe that arrived about a week prior to my last visit. I wanted to drag the carcas home, being near closing time I planned to do this the next day. We got blasted by snow the next day and life took over from there. So I went thru the whole yard and didn't find much other than 80s-90s crusher type jellybean cars. So I go to pay for my very small treasure pile. Here's a few of the oldies sitting around. The sight of stainless and glass reflecting in the sun does get my blood flowing.

I got to talking with the owner. He asked if I found what I was looking for. I said seems like the 70s stuff is drying up, and how I remember that brown car that arrived , but was probably long since crushed up. He looked at me and asked if I had checked by the old garbage pile, which I didn't give much thought to do since they were stacked out in that area waiting to be further processed. So I go charge the phone up, and head back that way. I walk out in the neighbors field around the outside of the mound of cars and wedged next to the mound and the hill of 30s metal sits the old brown Gran coupe. The drive train including the rear end is long gone now. The cool hood is gone as well. Much of the rest of it is still there. I may still pick this one up, at least the cool hideaways.

That’s the first New Yorker/diplomat/5th Avenue/M body I’ve ever seen with a sunroof.. never cared for the Boxee look, but!
