I was having some trouble with my car stumbling on take off and very little throttle..puttering along until it got over 800 or 1000rpm...decided to clean and rebuild the carb and that seems to have solved the issues. Some linkages were out of adjustment and it was pretty dirty inside from old gas i guess. some gelling and varnish. Nice and clean now and fires right up with no stumbling on the part throttle. Haven't driven it yet....its pouring rain so I haven't done a vacuum tuning yet, but its already noticeably better.

4bbl edelbrock 1806. I set the idles screws, cold and warm idle speeds this morning. Seems to have eliminated 90% of the issues I was having. Checked my dwell to make sure the new electronic ignition was working right...10 at idle and upwards of 30 at 2k...seems good. I think any other issues I have will be related to the valves and guides being a bit worn. some vibration in the needle which makes me think the guides are a little worn, but holding good at 17-18" at idle. It does have 110k on it so i think its about as good as it will get. Going to readjust the kickdown later because I changed when the secondaries started opening and it seems a little off, but otherwise it should be good to go for awhile.
