Eric,
Thanks for the reminder. I took care of the hotel back in July, but forgot about the preregistration, I have been so but lately. I also passed along the information to the guys that usually convoy down with us. Hope your health is doing better and you can make it this year.

I just figured I would post that Carlisle is currently having a 20% off sale until January 2nd for anyone wanting to go to the show next year
Carlisle Events - Event Details. The blue ‘67 Sport Fury convertible is registered and my stepdads hotel is booked, I just hope I can be able to go this year. Here are probably better links…. Carlisle Events Holiday Sale

Carlisle Chrysler Nationals | Carlisle PA
Thanks for the reminder! Signed up for my 1977 T&C wagon and my 1985 GLH Turbo Omni. Also booked the hotel....but not in time to get a room at the new Homewood Suites across the street :( . I did manage to book it in time for the Ford event though, so at least I get to stay at the prime spot once this year! Going to make sure to book the hotel for 2026 way earlier!

UPDATE:
Just letting everyone know that the 20% off sale has been extended until January 7th! Calling all regular Carlisle attendees…. @ayilar, @david hill, @polara71, @FURYGT, @billyfury, @67valiant 100, @The_Eagles’_Nest, @sixpkrt, @Omni, @JJ300, @Big_John, @Ripinator, @75LandYacht, @Imperialist67, @Boydsdodge, @cuda hunter, @halifaxhops, @mobileparts, @my1966chrysler, @Mike66Chryslers, @1968Chryslers, @Barry S, @garyh, @MrMoparCHP …. and anyone else I’m missing. Probably should start an official Carlisle 2025 post.

No. FCBO is not registered as a club with Carlisle and FBBO welcomes FCBO members to their tent and they usually have a cookout.
So if FCBO is not a listed club, and you can't choose it when you register because it's not listed, then what-ever you do bring you're going to register under what-ever class they give as options? And cars are grouped and parked on the field according to class?

Wait a minute, I'm confused.

FCBO is not in the Carlisle club list, but FBBO is?

I'm already signed up. God willing, I be there. . .

Since joey has multiple platforms, febo, fcbo, fabo, fbbo,Ain't there a truck one too. And a few others.
He can't justify putting all of the forums separate as then he will only have a few people from each register.
By combining everyone on his biggest platform, Fbbo, he can keep the attendance high and get the free tent and tables.

I register at ebodies.org.
The owner is a car guy and is one of us and has multiple ebodies. He is not into this for profit (mostly). He is not into censorship.

If that club was to disregard Carlisle and not register I would then be forced to join the fbbo club.
Consequently being the default for the fcbo club.

I hope that helps with the confusion.

But still two questions:

1) Can you select both a club affiliation and a car-class when registering? Or if you select a club, you don't get to choose a class?

2) Are cars that register with a club (ie FBBO) parked or grouped on the field in one place assigned to the club?

Because I would not want to park my C-body in the assigned "FBBO" field area if that's what happens if I select a club affiliation. I'd rather have my car parked beside other similar cars.

I don't think they require you to park with other B bodies. You still have to line up with your class.

Matter of a fact, I have asked if I can park my A body Warrior barracuda with my club, ebodies.org .
I was told that I can not park my A body with the E bodies even if that is my club.
They have come and told one of our members at the tent, with a modern challenger, to move that challenger up to the
new challenger field and did not allow him to have it in the old ebodies field.

And a picture of the car that I would gladly piss off all the ebodies in their "up class" row of cars.

So it makes no difference where my car ends up on the field if I select club registration or not. No upside or downside for me if I select FBBO other than it might help the club get a tent. yes?

Correct. Club selection and car class registration have nothing to do with each other. Look forward to meeting you.

In some way, it does help you. The "club" provides some meals and meet ups and some much needed shade while roaming the fields. It also provides value to the owner of the site as he gets advertising out of it.
Better to help others in our hobby than just be a loaner and not help anyone continue the hobby.

I could be wrong about this, but I don't think Joey has anything to do with FBBO being listed on Carlisle Events as a club. It's one of the guys from over at FBBO.
