I was kind of wondering about that 70 Polara ragtop myself. Is it as good as it looks...
Great pictures! By chance did you get a picture of a gold Newport convertible?
somebody gonna answer that?
Hey Bob I see you got mug shots of my wheels, lol. We stopped by Dave's tent twice and I saw your car but I don't think you were around....perhaps you were taking all the pics? Nice pics too.
B3......i have pics of the tag
Gary, I saw you driving away LOL! If you would of looked in your rear view mirror you would of saw my big @ss chasing you! LOL!!! I saw you again when you parked next to my car behind Dave's tent. You, and I think it was your wife, were sitting in lawn chairs under Dave's tent. Ya, I was taking pictures while working my way back to my NYB. When I got there you were gone again.....LOL!!!! We'll meet up next year for sure!!! I had a great time!
the B3 from earlier years is a bit darker, but even so he may have had it painted something closer to B5. Note how dark the B3 is on the '70 paint chart. That repaint doesn't look B3 to me....it should be pretty close to the shade of blue that my car is painted. My NYB is B3.
No I didn't think to look back behind us when we were leaving though now I wish I had! I had absolutely no idea. Yea, we pulled out the chairs for a spell and the decided to pack up and head off to the bleachers 'cause there was better wifi reception there plus the burnout contest was coming up and if you don't get there early you'd get nowhere to sit. I'm sorry we didn't get to shake hands, I finally met everyone else. Next year for sure, I certainly expect to be there, lol. Did you eat at Hoss by the way?
Dave/Mark,Will.........
Was that Polara rag B3 or B5 or B7 Blue? I couldn't tell. The owner says it's a repaint so I can't tell from the paint chart what color it really is. Maybe not the right color at all. The hood was closed so I couldn't see the fender tag.
Its worth it ....... and he'll come down
We'll absolutely meet next year. I'll be there for sure. No, Hoss' parking lot was pretty full when I drove by. I dined at Texas Roadhouse in Chambersburg. It was a mile or so from the hotel I stayed at. No crowds and I was entertained by the ladies working there. Five of them were line dancing about every 15-20 minutes. They said they were 3rd in the U.S. for the competition line dance contest last year and they hope to win this year. I took my time eating and enjoyed watching them dance.
maybe we can all get together for dinner @ Hoss's next year......an earlier or later than normal dinner time will allow for us to prob all sit in the same area.
i'll eat there next weekend, it'll be quieter than it was this past weekend
