I definitely got that putting all my trust in ma mopars indestructible 318. I swear theres about 100 miles or so on that 318 at 260 plus.Hope it doesn't rain that weekend, I'm planning on displaying my car with dust and dirt on it, maybe a little bird crap too. I think I did have bird crap on my car a few years ago so maybe I overplayed that hand.
Wyatt displayed his wagon with the all important radiator rust spray in his engine compartment. He did not get that riding in a enclosed trailer.
I tape paper over the guage in my Challenger it is always on the H. Out of sight out of mind.I definitely got that putting all my trust in ma mopars indestructible 318. I swear theres about 100 miles or so on that 318 at 260 plus.

Come on cheapskate!!, come off of a buck while saving a few with early registration.I may actually register ahead of time this year.

Gonna be in 1965-1978 C-body Modified this coming year. Registered "The Bear" or purple 4 door post sedan, at least that's the plan right now. If it's gonna be 100 degrees plus then bringing something else cause black interior. Been 6 years since that car has been there.View attachment 335017 View attachment 335018Photos above are at Carlisle Chrysler Nationals 2014. Courtesy of Moparts.
We will be competing in the same class as I am registered and plan to bring the Flyin Whale '66 Chrysler 300.
Carlisle did celebrate the C's in 2016..so in their eyes they have moved on..Sorry Wyatt, but that is a lie. Carlisle is NOT celebrating 1970 C-body cars. Guess Chrysler didn't make any that year. I emailed Carlisles' Event Planning people and asked them why they aren't doing it. No response. I mean come on, you ain't gotta celebrate all the '70 c-body cars just throw in a few Sport Fury GT's, and Chrysler 300 Hurst cars that'll make me happy. I think all us c-body folk should say somethin'. Nah it ain't gonna change nothin anyhow. It's seriously too bad but why would they, sure celebrate the a,b,and e-bodies. No big deal, goin' anyway.

Only after I bitched to Ed the year before about not doing a 50 year celebration of the C body 1965 to 2015 . He responded with we want to do a C body celebration next year (2016) do you have a theme suggestion? I said yeah
" We missed the Boat ".
They could easily do a 1970 C body Convertible thing or as Bob said a Hurst thing ( which they did do in 16). How many tributes can they do to AARs /T/As RR and S-Bee 6 pak cars, Winged Warriors, M code A bodies?
