I don't think you are allowed to dump raw sewage in the river. You can have Gov. Wolf if you drop him in the Mississippi on your way home.

Anyone from NE Oklahoma driving there with room in their truck / trailer for a couple boxes of parts on the return trip? We're flying there for our first Carlisle and I'm hoping to bring back a cache of switches and small items .
In the past we have loaded up a couple of suitcases for the return flight, and are planning on that again. But those were general swap meets. where MoPars are few and far between.

Thank you!Devin: I can't help you with parts transportation, but I can offer you a cold beverage and a seat in the shade. Please stop by my shelter. It would be great to meet you in person.
Thank you!
How will I find you / your car there?
Plans MAY have changed, we MAY be bringing the '67 VIP 4-door hardtop instead of the turquoise '67 4-door hardtop to try and sell it. Not 100% sure on that yet though......
Mopar tim from FABO will have a empty car trailer going back to San Diego looking for a load.
Hi should say Hi now then.

I’m a local and drive I-80 often to visit family in western PA/ eastern OH. If you’re looking to go 80, I would suggest that it’s quicker to get off 80 at the Woodland exit (123) and take Rt 322 through State College. It’s a nice drive and will cut miles out from going all the way to Williamsport and coming down 15. 322 meets up with 15 outside of Harrisburg. The other option if going via 322, is to get off 322 at Rt34 (Newport). Take 34 south all the way to the Carlisle gates bWell I don’t know who’s in charge. If someone is (@sixpkrt or @david hill maybe?) then pls raise your hand. Here are my two cents:
1. Several of the cars coming from IL are in the Rockford/Chicago area. Doesn’t mean @HWYCRZR and @LocuMob (and hopefully others from WI and further west) have to drive through there, but it’d be nice!
2. To spare the engines/cooling/brakes, flatter is better. I would submit that a Northern route to Akron and then I-80 to Williamsport then PA-15 to Harrisburg would have the fewest elevation changes, but I am open to taking the PA turnpike through Pittsburgh despite the curves and hills. I’ve driven that route many many times in all weathers over the years, and I should be able to take a C and live. Whether a C likes it is another matter.
3. Making a sleepover partway from Chicago will allow us to relax and rest. Same for the cars. Last year I believe (I drove to Carlisle from elsewhere last year) it was in Lima, Ohio.
4. With this in mind, I’d prefer leaving the Chicago on Wednesday and arriving on Thursday afternoon or evening. That puts a safety cushion should anyone run into issues. But if others would prefer to be in Carlisle a day earlier, fine with me too.
5. Keep in mind that some folks going may not drive back West after Carlisle. I, for instance, may (not sure yet) head south afterwards for a vacation.
Thank you very much for the suggestion. A nice road through the country is my preference. Shorter is also better, and taking PA-322 would shave 25 minutes and 35 miles (so about $9 at PA 93-octane gas prices).
